Luvi (luvi.fans) — Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Luvi is operated by Takeoff Newco, Inc. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, and any other sexualization or sexual exploitation of a minor. CSAM means any visual depiction, including photos, videos, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery, of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. These standards apply to the Luvi website and the Luvi mobile apps, and complement our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Privacy guidelines.
1. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Luvi and result in immediate, permanent removal from the platform:
- Creating, storing, sharing, requesting, or selling CSAM, whether real, computer-generated, or drawn.
- Presenting any person as a minor in a sexual context.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to contact a minor for a sexual purpose.
- Advertising, facilitating, or profiting from the trafficking or sexual exploitation of a minor.
2. How we protect against CSAE
- Creator verification: every Creator must complete a facial age estimation check and verify their identity and age with a government-issued ID through Yoti before publishing content or receiving payments. Only verified adults can publish content on Luvi. Creator accounts suspected of belonging to a minor are suspended pending review.
- CSAM detection: uploaded content is matched against known CSAM using Safer by Thorn, and screened for unknown CSAM, the sexualization of minors, and the apparent presence of minors using Hive and other automated tools, before it is reviewed by our moderation team.
- User reporting: every profile, post, and message in the Luvi app has a Report option, so any user can flag suspected CSAE directly from the app. Reports are also accepted by email (see Reporting below).
- Human moderation: our moderation team operates 24/7 and reviews flagged content and user reports. Child safety reports are prioritized ahead of all other moderation work.
- Reporting to NCMEC: confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline.
3. Reporting
Anyone can report suspected CSAE, with or without a Luvi account:
- In the app: use the “Report” option on any profile, post, or message.
- By email: rhai@luvi.fans
Do not download or forward suspected CSAM; report it directly.
4. Our response
When we become aware of CSAM or CSAE on Luvi, we remove the content, permanently ban the accounts involved, preserve evidence as required by law, report the material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities, and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
5. Compliance with law
Luvi complies with applicable child safety laws in the regions where it operates, including mandatory CSAM reporting obligations, and with the child safety policies of the app stores that distribute the Luvi apps.
6. Child safety contact
Questions about these standards, and requests from law enforcement or child protection organizations, can be addressed to Luvi’s Trust & Safety team at rhai@luvi.fans. Luvi is operated by Takeoff Newco, Inc.
